04 mar- Nella Repubblica Federale Tedesca continuano le proteste contro l’incarcerazione del corrispondente di Welt Deniz Yücel di almeno altri 150 giornalisti in Turchia. Le tuttora caute esternazioni del governo federale su questa vicenda vengono palesemente interpretate da Ankara come un invito. Giovedì sera il Ministro della Giustizia turco vuole presentarsi a Gaggenau nel Baden-Württemberg.

La Turchia distrugge il sito curdo dei Giardini di Hevsel: L’Unesco silente
Gli storici Giardini di Hevsel nella provincia sudorientale curda di Diyarbakir sono stati aperti alla costruzione da un decreto legge emergenziale del governo. Il sito di 7000 anni nei pressi delle sponde del fiume Tigri è divenuto sito patrimonio mondiale nel 2015 insieme alla fortezza vicino ad esso.

The UN Human Rights Office on Friday published a report detailing allegations of massive destruction, killings and numerous other serious human rights violations committed between July 2015 and December 2016 in southeast Turkey.

CoE Secretary General warns Turkey on journalists and right violations
Following the visit of Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ in Strasbourg, the Council of Europe (CoE) Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland published a press statement warning the member state on severe violations of journalists and parliamentarians rights.
