A new campaign named “Water for Rojava” has been launched two weeks ago aiming at rising funds to help women’s co-operatives and democratic local municipalities in Rojava and other parts of North-East Syria.
Dilgeş is only three years old. He has been in prison with his mother for almost two weeks. He suffers from kidney disease and cannot eat the prison food. Because there is no hot water, he cannot have a bath.
365 lawyers from many countries signed a petition signed to the Supreme Court for jailed lawyers Ebru Timtik and Aytaş Ünsal who are on death fast. Family of Timtik appeal on people to speak out for the two lawyers.

The Hrant Dink Foundation said in a written statement that on 27-28 May 2020 they had received a written death threat via email which included the phrase ‘We may turn up one night, when you least expect it’, a slogan used boastfully in certain circles, and the very same slogan people were well used to hearing before Hrant Dink was so publicly assassinated, and with the knowledge of official bodies, on 19 January 2007.

In Kurdish provinces children are not just the target of state forces such as police or soldiers. In 2010, the state took a step which turned “children who were throwing stones” and who were under 15 into “children who were pushed into crime”.
