It has been disclosed that the prison administration of Tarsus threatened prisoners with threats such as “You don’t deserve to live, we can do anything to you”.
A new excuse has been found not to give the books sent or brought to the prisoners in Kandira F Type Prison No. 1. The prison administration requires that prisoners have money in their accounts.

The 392nd sit-in organised by the Prison Commission of the Istanbul Branch of the Human Rights Association (IHD), was held despite the heavy police presence which prevented the action to be held in Galatasaray square. The sit-in is demanding the release of sick prisoners every week.
Human Rights Association Ankara president Nuray Çevirmen said that in Turkey there is a huge problem with prisons.
